“Awesome Place To Work”
I have been working at SolutionsWide full-time (Less than a year)
Pros
Really positive work environment. Every single person is welcoming, friendly, and more than willing to help you if you need it. The team is full of hard workers who motivate each other. Management is the best I’ve ever experienced, and there are definitely plenty of opportunities to grow which is great.
Cons
Parking downtown isn’t the best, but they did just roll out commuter benefits so that’s been amazing!
“Exciting Startup Environment With Real Goals and Smart Energetic People”
I worked at SolutionsWide full-time (Less than a year)
Pros
Really pushing to make something good, using latest project management and collaboration tools. Provides opportunity to excel within strategic goals that allow for tactical creativity that is evaluated daily for success. Staff that know their business model, remain focused on working it, and willing to teach others.
Cons
Startup environment provides some structure, but with expectation that you either come equipped with the tools and experience already or can pick up their business model quickly.
“Great place to work and grow”
Pros
Everyone I work with knows how to balance technical and emotional intelligence; smart and friendly. The pace of work is just right, and the projects are challenging and interesting. If something comes up it’s never the end of the world since there’s a refreshing level of flexibility.
Cons
Low starting compensation, limited medical insurance benefit options
“Editor”
Pros
They really want you to excel at work. If there’s a book you want to read to help deepen your knowledge on the industry. They also have an open door policy, where you can talk about any issues or problems you may be having or struggling with at work.
I’ve been at huge corporations like Apple and tiny Mom and Pop shops and this place takes the best of both world’s and somehow makes it work. If you work hard they’ll reward you.
The benefits are just as good as if you are working at a large multimillion dollar corporation, with Health, Vision & Dental Insurance. But they also take care of their employees. A preferred food, drink, or snack, anything you want (within reason), is available if you ask them.
You actually get to know the other people in the office, and there are team building and work outings once a month to help you have fun without having to talk about work. The weekly meetings to see the projections is a good way to help keep you on task and see what goals we’re trying to hit.
Cons
Need more team building and direction for big goals. It’s intimidating jumping into things head first, but if you ever get lost and don’t know what to do you can always ask upper management to help steer you in the right direction.
The quarter sprints are killer. Make sure you get plenty of rest that week.
“SolutionsWide is one of the best tech companies in SD, hands down.”
Pros
SolutionsWide is led by true, natural-born leaders who never stop improving. The momentum from the leaders inspires all team members and sets the pace for constant success. SW has grown year over year since inception and is truly innovative in the many things that they do. I really felt at home with SW and felt that my growth was nurtured and encouraged. I left for personal reasons, but would not blink an eye at the opportunity join forces with SW once again if the right one came along down the road. You will find yourself surrounded by REALLY SMART people who work really hard. There are no fluff people at SW, it is lean and everyone is rewarded well.
Cons
You will be living that Downtown SD parking life (assuming you drive a car to work), which is not always fun.
“Great Opportunity for Entry-Level Customer Service Representatives”
Pros
Great opportunity for inbound/outbound call center experience, if your seeking to gain call center experience or shift into call center work. The managment staff works great with scheduling your schedule if you have other priorities and they practice a very open door policy for growth. Growing company lots of room for growth
Cons
Small working area, Compensation is low and no benefits yet
